The cap has a center opening for the insertion of a cutting tool prong. The cap has a clamping/centering section (11), a disk-shaped section (12) and a guide cone for the inserted cutting prong (13). The cap has grooves (15) to hold O-rings, and the cap diameter (14) matches the end of the pipe.
