The training apparatus has a moving device (e.g. exercise cycle) housed in an underpressure chamber (12) for the legs of the user which can be sealed from the outside by a sealing sleeve around the waist of the user. A support belt device for the user hangs underneath the sealing sleeve to support the user inside the underpressure chamber. The support belt device has a hip belt connected to two leg straps surrounding the thighs.
