The beam-post construction is particularly for facades or light roofs and has post profiles between which beam profiles (1) are arranged, with upper and lower grooves (2,3) on the outwardly directed side of the beam profiles for fixing a seal (7,8). Between the beam profiles is formed a screw channel (4) for fixture of a pressure profile (16), which holds upper and lower filling plates (9,10). The space between two filling plates is divided by the screw channel and/or by an insulation profile (11) inserted in the screw channel into an upper inner chamber (12) and a lower inner chamber (13). The lower inner chamber is sealed in relation to the upper inner chamber and the upper inner chamber is connected to the atmosphere by outflow apertures or channels.
