The element (1) is made of a fire-resistant material and designed in the shape of a segment of a circle, slightly bigger than a semi-circle, with stepped edges (7, 8). Several grooves (4, 5, 6) with T-shaped cross sections are arranged parallel on its inner surface engaging with matching sticks positioned at the outer surface of the collection pipe, creating a gap between both objects for being filled with a fireproof material. A suitable number of protection elements (1) are positioned beside each other, the gaps between them also filled with a fire-resistant substance.
