The lining (1) has intermediate layers of moisture-permeable plastic films. The raw material can contain deodorants and the product can be thin, normal or thick to vary absorbency. It is applied in a slide-resistant manner in the armpit area by means of e.g. a Velcro fastener. The basic shape resembles a half-moon.
