The shim (10) for the end face of a bearing (20) has an axial hole (11) which creates a connection between the external surface and internal surface and can accommodate a shaft (30). At least one oil-guiding hole (12) creates a connection of the internal surface to the external surface and corresponds to an outer circumference of the axial hole. With rotation of the shaft the lubricant emerging from the bearing can flow into a gap between the internal surface of the shim and the end face of the bearing and is collected in the oil-guiding hole.
