A tool holder with anti theft fitting has a bracket with upper and lower mountings (14, 41) and with a lower fitting (11) to hold the shaft of the tool. The top of the tool handle is clamped under a profiled grip (13) on the top of the bracket. The fitting is secured by a securing plate (120) clipped into a recess (12). The securing grips comprise two triangular cross section arms (23) fitted to the bracket above the lower fitting. The tool holder is secured to a wall, or the upper fitting can be used to secure the bracket to a tool belt, alongside similar brackets.
