The bicycle stand has a support rod (20) which on one end has a fastening component (10) for attaching to the bicycle and provided with a conical-form slot (11). A pin with a helical compression spring is installed inside the slot so that the pin is pivot-connected to the end of the support rod yet eccentrically to the rod's hinge axis, whereby the compression spring is pressed against an inner end point of the conical slot to keep the stand stable in its supporting and non-operating positions.
