Aqueous silicate solutions with high orthophosphate contents and processes for the corrosion protection treatment of drinking water pipes

Proposed is a liquid aqueous concentrate in the form of a homogenous solution containing at least 8 % by wt. of silicate (calculated as SiO2) and at least 3 % by wt. of phosphate (calculated as PO4), as well as a method of protecting drinking-water pipes from corrosion using the concentrate.
