PURPOSE: To measure distribution of real radioactive nuclide of each part of a sample by measuring density of the sample and an ionizing radioactive quantity, and correcting them by a self absorption rate corresponding to the density. ;CONSTITUTION: A sample 20 with 14C of section shape dispersed thereon is irradiated with 147Pm on an average, an ionizing radioactive quantity for measuring density passed through the sample 20 is readout by an ionizing radioactivity readout means 30 for measuring density, the result is compared with a memory of data table 11 for measuring density, and the density of each part of the sample 20 is obtained by an ionizing radioactivity readout means 40 for measuring density. The ionizing radioactive quantity for sample of the sample 20 is readout by an ionizing activity readout means 50 for sample, further a self absorption rate corresponding to the density of a part of the sample by the means 40 is read out from a memory of data table 12 for sample by a self absorption rate readout means 60, the ionizing radioactive quantity for sample read out by the means 50 is corrected by the use of the self absorption rate by a ionizing radioactive quantity correcting means 70, and hence the quantity of radioactive nuclide for sample really distributed on the sample 20 is measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
