PURPOSE: To obtain a DNA molecule and a polypeptide expressed by the molecule, and further to provide a use thereof for diagnosis and a production method thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: This polypeptide showing antigenicity of an HCV(hepatitis C virus) core antigen protein derived from a genome of a nucleocapsid and a part of an envelope region of HCV, and the DNA molecule coding for the modified sequence are disclosed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
