Procedures for the cultivation, virus attenuation and in vitro cloning of the parasite of the genus Babesia and its applications

Red blood cells (rbc) parasitised by members of the Babesia genus are cultured in vitro for a least one incubation (pref. several successive incubations) in the presence of non-parasitised rbc and cells suitable as a support for culturing the parasites.
