Preparation of sterile culture medium for the selection of recombinant microorganisms comprising: (a) preparing a powder mix of all ingredients of the medium with the exception of selection and/or identification agents; (b) dissolving the powder in a sufficient quantity of water; (c) subjecting the suspension obtained to microwave action for homogenization.
