The device comprises a rigid rod (50) able to translate and rotate one end of which penetrates a recess (30b) of a piston (30). It is fixed by a ball joint to the recess via an insert (60) mounted inside the recess. The rod has means (70) for locking the rod or insert relative to the piston. The locking means comprises a stop (32) carried by the piston which provides axial locking and a washer carried by the insert. The washer has radially deformable peripheral fins which are pressed against the recess inner wall to lock the rod in the opposite direction.
