The garden border kit comprises a long border element (25) which is placed on the ground to form a border (60). Posts (2) are planted in the ground for fixing the border. Each border element receives a post projecting part (3) in order to position the border element astride the post. Independent claims are included for a method of installing the border kit and a border made from the kit.
