Selective analysis of a fluid from a reservoir (2.2) in a well involves isolating at least part of the flow (8) from the reservoir, without affecting the proportion of the flow from other reservoir zones, and the sampling and/or measuring using the isolated flow. A projection is generated inside the well at level N, lower than the piezometric level Ni of the sampled reservoir. Means (5) of separating the flow at the level of the sampled reservoir define a volume (6) in which only the flow (8) from the sampled reservoir passes to allow sampling and/or measurement. The means of separation ensure that a low pressure drop does not modify the proportion of the flow. A pipe (10) is in the well at the level of the sampled reservoir, so a main flow passes inside the pipe and a secondary, lateral flow passes outside the pipe. Means of blocking (11) at the bottom of the pipe channel the flow (7) rising inside the pipe and the means of sampling and/or measurement are outside the pipe. An opening in the wall of the pipe allows the flow to pass from outside to inside the pipe and means of blocking are mounted above the opening(s). Alternatively, a vessel has at least one opening that takes part of the lateral flow, and a second opening that returns the captured flow to the outside of the vessel. The means of sampling and/or measurement are inside the vessel.
