The mechanical spring command has a spring (RE) cooperating with a shaft (A1) rotating from a first to a second angular position. A motor (M) is released to drive the shaft from a second to a first angular position. The shaft rotates in the same direction during both operations. The motor engages the shaft across a clutch which is released whilst the shaft is rotated by the spring.
