A control device (I) for a compression element (2) acting on a compressible element, which is given an oscillatory movement and incorporating a jack (4) and an upper chamber (5), comprises a jack fluid reservoir (6) and a communication system (7) providing a circulation of fluid between the upper chamber and the reservoir to allow the bringing together of the compression element and the compressible element or to separate them.
