Nucleic acid sequence (I), encoding a modified protein of interest (II), comprising at least 1 gene (Ia) for (II), a fragment ((Ib) polyK) that encodes a sequence of at least 6 Lys residues and a fragment ((Ic) polyH) that encodes a sequence of at least 6 His residues, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an expression vector that contains (I); (2) a kit of vectors for expressing at least two different (II); (3) a host cell containing at least one vector of (1); and (4) a method for preparing purified and immobilized (II).
