The spreading machine comprises a chassis supporting a storage hopper (2) for chips, a binder tank (4), a regulation hopper (3) also containing chips, and a transverse binder manifold (6) supplied with binder from the tank. A chip extraction device (5) located at the base and outlet of the regulation hopper distributes the chips on the ground (S). In the rear of the manifold is a conveyor (22) able to transfer the chips from the storage hopper into the regulation hopper.
