The heat exchanger has tubes formed by folding sheet metal to form a flat-sided tube, with the join along the middle of one side. One edge of the sheet is bent to form a wall (18,19) that divides the tube longitudinally, with the bottom of the wall resting (15) flat (28) on the opposite side of the tube. The other edge of the sheet is folded (10,12) to fit into a curve in the top of the wall.
