P The invention relates to an automatic stop device for an electric motor housed in a rotating tube more particularly intended to actuate a roller shutter. This device comprises a junction connecting the casing (1) of the engine and a fixed axis (4) which allows the casing to pivot from an equilibrium position, in reaction to the torque of the engine, and pivotings of the casing (1 ) reflecting the reaching of a limit torque specific to each direction trigger the engine stop.
