摘要
Starting from one or more edges, the cloth (1) is prepared by forming a series of folds (P1-PN) of set length. An operation on one or more folds, inhibits dyeing. The cloth is dipped into one or more baths of differing dyes (4), to different depths. It is dried and passed onto the frame. Folds are taken and knotted at regular or irregular intervals to locally-inhibit dyeing. More or all of the folds remaining, are similarly treated. The folds are gripped over part or all of their height and/or transversely, using ties (3) locally-inhibiting dyeing. The cloth is hung or hooked on a frame (2) superposing edges (1a, 1b). A number of folds are hung on the frame. The cloth is prepared and folded on a separate machine. The folded, prepared cloth is hung on a frame. Frame and cloth are dipped with knots formed on several folds, into the dyeing bath.
