The vehicle battery (BA) supplies a step down converter (CA) which consists of a MOSFET transistor (TR3), a diode (DI) and an inductor (IN). The step down converter uses the inductor to feed a DC/DC converter (CV). The DC/DC converter has two MOSFET transistors (TR1,TR2) connected in series across the terminals of a supercapacitor (DC).
