The side rail (61) is formed from an aluminum extrusion and has a T-shaped groove (72) formed in a surface (71) over its whole length. Several fixing elements (81) slide in the groove to fix the side rail on the load platform (13). Several hook elements (91) each have a base part (92) which slides in the groove in order to retain a cord for fixing a load on the platform.
