A pointing device comprising a stylus/pointer 1 which is realisably attached to a holder 2 by means of a clip 3. The holder 2 is attached to a personal computer by means of an adhesive backing or suction cup. The stylus/pointer 1 can be removed from the holder 2 and used for pointing at and making contact with a computer screen without leaving fingerprints or pen marks. The pointer may be made of wood, glass, metal or plastics or a combination of these materials.
