PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security characteristics by easily discover forgery of a document and disabling easy visual recognition of ID information related to the number of prints.;SOLUTION: A printer prints the ID information related to the number of the prints by using an inkjet ink with the same color as that of a sheet 1 on a specified part 1a of each sheet 1 of a group 2 of printed matter sheets consisting of a plurality of sheets 1 using the inkjet ink under a condition where the ID information can not be visually recognized or hardly visually recognized by the naked eye to prevent the printed matter from being forged by substitution. In addition, the printer is provided with a printing unit using the inkjet ink with the same color as that of the sheet to print the ID information related to the number of the prints on the sheet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
