PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wheel self-propelled pest control machine capable of traveling in a four-wheel self-propelled mode effective in travel on an ascendent/descendent slope, allowing compact turning by switching to a three-wheel mode based on front two wheels and a single rear wheel in turning in an outlet/inlet from/to a ridge, and facilitating the switching operation.;SOLUTION: A vehicle body frame 1, in which an operation handle 2 is mounted in the rear part while a spray boom 3 is mounted in the front part, is provided with driving wheels 4 and 5. A traveling engine 6 transmitting power to the driving wheels 4 and 5 and a sprayer 7 feeding a chemical solution to the spray boom 3 are mounted on the front half part side of the frame 1, and a chemical solution tank 8 is mounted on the rear half part side of the frame 1. In the rear part of the vehicle body frame 1, a turning universal wheel 9 lifting a rear driving wheel 5 with the frame 1 for allowing compact turning based on the three wheels composed of the front driving wheels 5 and the rear driving wheel 5 is arranged via a switching support mechanism 10 so that the turning universal wheel 9 is freely separated from the ground L or brought into contact with the ground L.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
