PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification process of a gasified gas 4 to be obtained from a low quality fuel such as coal and a heavy oil which maintains the activity of a COS (carbonyl sulfide) conversion catalyst 23 to be used in a COS treatment apparatus for converting COS present in the gasified gas 4 into H₂S.;SOLUTION: A catalyst 22 for removing O₂ which causes the deterioration of the activity of the COS conversion catalyst 23 by no combustion is provided and arranged upstream of the COS conversion catalyst 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
