PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardly discolored vinylic polymer suitably usable as a component for a hydrosilylated reactive composition which is hardly discolored.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the vinylic polymer comprises a combination of a step for stirring a mixture of a vinylic polymer produced by utilizing a radical polymerization of a vinylic monomer by using a polymerization catalyst of a transition metal complex, with water at 40-400C, and a step for carrying out a purification treatment of the vinylic polymer without using water. The hydrosilylated reactive composition contains the vinylic polymer and a hydrosilyl group-containing compound. The vinylic polymer having the crosslinkable silyl group is obtained from the hydrosilylated reactive composition.
