REDUCTION RATIO VARIABLE POWER STEERING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction ratio variable power steering device capable of smooth rotation transmission.;SOLUTION: The power steering reduces the rotation of a steering wheel by a steering gear and amplifies steering force applied to the steering wheel by a servo mechanism to transmit it to a steerable wheel. A steering wheel shaft connected to the steering wheel and gear shaft connected to the steering gear are axially supported by a housing on a center axis line to be rotatable. Opposing axial ends of the steering shaft and the gear shaft are fitted thorough a bearing supporting radial loads to be relatively rotatatable around the center axis line. First and second sun gears having the slightly different number of teeth are provided on the opposing axial ends of both shafts to support a carrier, which supports first and second planetary gears respectively engaging the first and second gears and rotating together, to be rotatable around the center axis line.
