PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erosion resistant member for non-ferrous molten metal, the member that has comparatively inexpensive manufacturing cost and that is superior in wear resistance and erosion resistance.;SOLUTION: The erosion resistant member for non-ferrous molten metal is characterized in that a coating layer made of a high-speed steel based alloy is provided at least on a part of the surface of a base material composed of an iron-based or steel-based material and that a nitride layer is formed on the surface of the coating layer.
