PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of ununiformity of a concentration of iced water at a branch part and to feed a uniform concentration of iced water to respective ice storage tanks when the iced water containing sherbet-like ice produced by an ice making machinery is transferred to one or a plurality of branch pipe from a main pipe through the branch part in an ice storage system having a plurality of ice storage tanks.;SOLUTION: An orifice or a nozzle is arranged at a position approximately 2-10 times of an inner diameter of the main pipe from a center of the branch part toward an upstream side of the main pipe. A hole diameter of the orifice or the nozzle is set such that a pressure loss becomes approximately 2,000Pa. A plug flow generated in the pipe by attaching the sherbet-like ice to each other is crushed when it passes through the orifice or the nozzle. Thereby, iced water can flow in the respective branch pipe at the approximately uniform concentration not depending on a branch flow rate and a flow speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
