CREEP FEED FOR PIGLET AND METHOD FOR FEEDING PIGLET USING THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide creep feed suiting the preference of pre-weaning piglets; and to provide a method for supplying the feed. PSOLUTION: The creep feed for piglets contains 30-50 wt.% of dextrin and is also formulated with saccharides as a sweetness source. It is preferable that the creep feed is produced using dextrin having a degree of saccharification of 10.5-19.0, the degree of sweetness (DE) of the creep feed is 20 based on 100 of that of sugar, and the viscosity thereof is regulated to -1.0 to -2.5. The method for feeding piglets comprises giving the creep feed to pre-weaning piglets. This method improves a creep feeding ratio to pre-weaning piglets, enables equation of the weight in a weaning stage, and prevents growth delay caused by stress in one week after weaning.
