PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind tunnel test device for running models that can increase test accuracy and increase test efficiency by avoiding generation of recirculation of gas entrained away from road ends of running directions of running models run by running devices, back to the road ends, and controlling the gas flows through turning of the running models run by the running devices.;SOLUTION: The wind tunnel test device for running models, which runs running models such as automobile models in an air duct in a wind tunnel to detect a diffusion state of a gas flow caused by the running of the running models, comprises the running devices for reciprocating the running models in inclined directions including perpendicular directions to an air flow in the air duct. The air duct comprises a forward air duct formed in a space where the running devices run, and a return air duct disposed independently of the forward air duct in a different part from the forward air duct in the wind tunnel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
