WIND TUNNEL TEST MODEL DAMPING ADAPTER AND WIND TUNNEL TEST MODEL DAMPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability and repairability of a damping adapter, and the positional accuracy of a model relative to a sting.;SOLUTION: This damping adapter 5 for a wind tunnel test model is equipped with a single adapter body 7 for coupling the test model to the sting, with a model coupling part 11 on its front end part and a sting coupling part 12 on its rear end part. A plurality of piezoelectric actuators 8 are built independently of each other in the adapter body 7 to give damping moment to the coupling part 11 in order to cancel the vibration of a model damping adapter-sting system. The actuators 8 are each equipped with a piezoelectric body 22 and a push rod 23 whose one end contacts with the coupling part 11 while the other end contacts with the piezoelectric body 22.
