PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determining apparatus for easily determining whether or not a person to be determined has Parkinson's disease or has essential tremor or not even in the initial stage of the onset of Parkinson's disease or essential tremor. PSOLUTION: This determining apparatus comprises grip parts 1a, 1b provided with perceiving parts for perceiving the tremor of a person 10 in three axes of x-y-z directions; a data processing part 2 for processing the tremor caught in three axes by the perceiving parts, as data; and a data display part 3 for displaying the triaxial tremor in the x-y-z directions processed as data by the data processing part 2. The determining apparatus is constituted to determine whether or not the person 10 has the onset of tremor characteristic of Parkinson's disease, from the data-processed tremor displayed on the data display part 3.
