PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation plate in a medial strip, which not only interrupts illumination of an opposed vehicle but also exerts a function of facilitating recognition of the central traffic strip, at the time of traveling on a road at night, and exhibits an excellent appearance.;SOLUTION: The installation plate is set in the medial strip, for interrupting the illumination of the opposed vehicle, and for facilitating the recognition of the central traffic strip at the time of traveling on the road at night. The installation plate is an assembly including a pair of plate members formed of a transparent plastic molding, which are connected together at their peripheral edges to define a hollow portion therein. Each plate member has a rugged area formed in an inner surface facing the hollow interior of the assembly, and each inner surface has a coated layer of a light accumulating material at least at an edge thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
