PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data conference system capable of reducing the number of buffers required for transmission of a display screen data.;SOLUTION: One of pieces of terminal equipment in the data conference system is provided with a storage part constituted of at least the temporary buffer for storing the display screen data, the retrieval buffer for storing one, two or more of planned retrieval area(s), a comparison buffer for storing a comparison screen data reflected with the display screen data after updated, and an updating buffer for storing an updated list in every of the other terminal equipments, a retrieving range determining part for settling a retrieval objective area, based on the planed retrieval area stored in the retrieval buffer, an information adding part for detecting an updated area with the updated display screen data within the retrieval objective area, and for adding the updated area to each updated list, and a transmission part for encoding the comparison screen data, based on one, two or more of the updated area(s) added to the updated list.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
