SPACER REINFORCING BAR AUXILIARY METAL FITTING IN LARGE-SCALE REINFORCING BAR WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that skill is needed to form reinforced concrete evenly by restraining the oscillation of a reinforcing bar which occurs when ready-mixed concrete is placed, while a spacer made of concrete is generally used to maintain a space between the reinforcing bar and a form in conventional large-scale reinforcement work, whose purpose is to maintain the space between the reinforcing bar and the form rather than to fix the reinforcing bar and the form.;SOLUTION: The reinforcing bar auxiliary metal fitting comprises a nut which is used as a base point for firm holding for fixing the upper part of a J-shaped arm. By having a tightening bolt for adjusting a length for gripping, firm and sure connection is obtained using a simple tool, the space between the reinforcing bar and the form is maintained surely, and the space between them is maintained evenly by restraining the oscillation which occurs when the ready-mixed concrete is placed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
