PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disturbance generator capable of making one or more illumination colors obscure time-wise or spatially in a copy suppressing projector for projecting a digital moving image to a display screen. PSOLUTION: The projector (10) with enhanced security which includes a copy protect illumination system (1) for illuminating a spatial light modulator (30) and interrupts illegal action due to a camcorder comprises a polychromatic light source (20), an uniforming optical element (22) for uniforming light from the polychromatic light source so as to supply a uniform illumination visual field, a relay optical element, a dichroic optical element, an interference modulation element (5) set on a face in an optical path between the polychromatic light source and the spatial light modulator, and a detection means for judging the rack of the interference modulation element.
