PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a "spiritual anchorage" of a material and shape according to the bereaved family's request.;SOLUTION: The material, a "place to copy a spirit", which is to make the "spiritual anchorage", is made of a shaped object of clay, ceramics, and heat-resisting metal, etc. resistant to the high temperature of cremation, and is shaped as a Buddhist image or a cross considering the doctrines and religions, etc., or an ornament, a doll, or a figure with no relation to the doctrines or religions, or a shaped object having an image of the deceased. The material is prepared previously in this way before cremation and put in a coffin with the deceased's body to be cremated.
