PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable overlap degree measuring method to be used for delivery area division for surely measuring the overlap degree of a geographical delivery area and equalizing loads, and for reducing the total sum of distances between a seed and delivery destinations, and to provide a delivery area dividing method using the overlap degree measuring method.;SOLUTION: A plurality of nodes n1 and n2 existing on a map are divided into a plurality of delivery areas A1 and S2, and when delivery is made possible with satisfactory efficiency, an angle θ2 made by a seed S1 being a central point of the delivery area A1 and a node n belonging to the delivery area A1 and a node n2 belonging to the other delivery area A2 is calculated, and the overlap degree is measured form the angle θ2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
