PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To partition a plurality of customers belonging to a prescribed geographic range into sections to distribute a meter inspection work load and to conduct proper evaluation, and to properly and efficiently prepare and evaluate the meter inspection work load in each of the sections by computer processing, as to meter inspection work for utilities such as electricity, gas and city water.;SOLUTION: This system is provided with a sectional meter inspection database 2 wherein the plurality of customers belonging to the prescribed geographic range are partitioned into a prescribed number of sections, and wherein at least a meter inspection date group, a meter inspection person in charge and a load index are registered in each of the sections, a meter inspection time database 3 for acquiring a meter inspection time data from a meter checking terminal used for an input of a meter inspection value by the meter inspection person in charge to be registered retrievably the section by the section, and a load index calculating means 4 for calculating a required standard meter inspection time for each section, using the meter inspection time data acquired from the meter inspection time database 3, and for registering the found load index into the meter inspection database 2, based on the required meter inspection time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
