METHOD OF MODELLING WITH CONSIDERATION TAKEN INTO THERMAL HEAD AND AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a mathematical model with a thermal head and an ambient temperature taken into account.;SOLUTION: Constraints on a calibration printing output are translated into commands on a pattern being printed and a line time used during a printing process. When it is necessary to supplement an additional parameter, a graphical output of the calibration printing output can be related with excitation used for a heater element, and a heat sink temperature. An analytical expression is fitted through a set of data obtained by printing the calibration printed matter with the use of a curve fitting technique. Once the analytical relationship is known, an excitation time can be solved for a given requested graphical output.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
