PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for safe disposal of used medical equipment, i.e., in detail, a sharp matter disposal container suitable for disposal of a pen type injection needle.;SOLUTION: A pen type syringe with a used pen type injection needle as it is is inserted into this specially designed aperture. The pen type syringe is counterclockwise rotated around the longitudinal axis. The pen type injection needle itself is restricted by at least one tooth and able to have only one degree of freedom (movement along the longitudinal axis is enabled). By those conditions, the pen type injection needle is unthreaded from the pen type syringe. Thereby, when the pen type syringe is drawn off from the aperture, a projection part prevents the pen type injection needle from releaving together with the pen type syringe and the used pen type injection needle is dropped into the sharp matter disposal container without using secondary operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
