PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dissolving the firm composite which is occasionally formed by contacting on a print head surface ink with a polymer liquid during printing at the time of printing along with a cationic polymer-containing fixing agent and which is difficult to remove with a maintaining liquid such as 1, 2-hexanediol, glycerol and water.;SOLUTION: The method for dissolving a composite of an anionic dye/a cationic polymer comprises a step of applying to the above composite a water-soluble solvent having a dielectric constant at the standard state of 20-43.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
