PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to efficiently eliminate a torch shear drop which causes a surface flaw of steel products including those generated and persisting not only on the bottom surface but also on the upper surface and side surface of a cast slab.;SOLUTION: The device for eliminating a torch shear drop of the continuous casting cast slab is characterized in that a crushing stand of the torch shear drop, in which the crushing roll of the torch shear drop having a plurality of annular projections in the axial direction is incorporated as a pair vertically, is arranged tandem at least two sets in the carrier passage of the continuous casting cast slab so that the phase of the annular projection of the crushing roll of the torch shear drop which is included in the crushing stand of the torch shear drop varies before or after.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
