METHOD FOR TREATING PILE HEAD OF CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a pile head, by which the pile head having specified quality and strength can be manufactured simply and surely without requiring chipping works and without a compressive-strength test by the extraction of a core, in the pile head treatment of a cast-in-place concrete pile driven into a pit hole.;SOLUTION: In the method for treating the pile head of the cast-in-place concrete pile, concrete 5 is placed up to a section near to the top end of a designed pile in the pile hole 1, impurities such as slime on placed concrete are removed and final concrete 5A is placed to a section upper than the top-end face of the designed pile. In the method, the top-end level of an extra-filling section 5A' is sucked and removed by a vacuum hose 12 while being confirmed by a visual observation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
