PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately drive and also easily adjusting the position of an optical element of a lens barrel which is retreated to a position different from a photographing optical axis and moves backward in a storage state.;SOLUTION: As for the lens barrel, a rocking member is rotatably supported by a rotating center shaft arranged inside a straight advancing/retreating ring, and a retreat optical element supported by the rocking member is made to rotatably retreat from a photographing position to a retreat position accompanying the retreating action of the straight advancing/retreating ring at a storage time. The lens barrel is provided with a pair of shaft supporting plates for supporting the front and rear end parts of the rotating center shaft of the rocking member while nipping the straight advancing/retreating ring before and behind, a supporting plate fixing means for allowing the shift of the pair of shaft supporting plates in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis in a fixation release state, a pair of 1st oblong holes formed parallel to each other in the counter positions of the pair of the shaft supporting plates, a pair of 2nd oblong holes orthogonal to the 1st oblong holes, a 1st eccentric shaft member having a pair of eccentric pins slidably fitted in the pair of 1st oblong holes on both ends, a 2nd eccentric shaft member having a pair of eccentric pins slidably fitted in the pair of 2nd oblong holes on both ends, and a shift guiding means arranged on the pair of shaft supporting plates and the straight advancing/retreating ring so as to control the shifting direction of each shaft supporting plate in a plane orthogonal to the optical axis when the 1st and 2nd eccentric shaft members are rotated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
